Zachman Framework is a framework for description of the Enterprise Architecture, designed by John Zachman.
Zachman Framework was one of the first frameworks, which dealt with a comprehensive description of the organization as a whole. “Enterprise Architecture” - the description is divided into five levels:
- Scope (Contextual)
- Business Model (Conceptual)
- System Model (Logical)
- Technology Model (Physical)
- Detailed Representation (Interpretation)
and six views on the organization:
- Data
- Function
- Location
- People
- Time
- Motivation
It is much respected, cited, but does not contain a description in a greater detail.
