XaaS (Anything as a Service)

Anything as a Service or X as a Service, usually the abbreviation XaaS is used. It is an umbrella term in informatics for a service-oriented approach to the management and use of information and communication technologies in the form of services.

XaaS in practice: XaaS is just an umbrella term for various forms of the use of information and communication technologies as services, such as Software as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Communications as a Service, Network as a Service and Monitoring as a Service (MAAS) . According to the Open Group, XaaS is the essence of Cloud Computing.
