Job roles

Job roles (sometimes work roles) can be described as the roles that people play when they perform a specific job (tasks, activities) and try to achieve defined results. The concept of job roles is based on socio-psychological understanding of social roles. It focuses not on abstract description of the activities and tasks in the workplace, but on understanding the actual behavior of people at work.
