Socialization is a term which refers to the process of integrating individuals into social groups, society, and culture. Individual gradually acquires norms and values, expected behavior, learns different social roles and develop skills and abilities.
Socialization in practice: In the conditions of the organization, an intensive socialization appears especially after a new employee joins. This socialization is divided into intentional and unintentional. Intentional corresponds to controlled orientation and adaptation. Unintentional corresponds to everyday influence of colleagues especially in informal relationships. New employee learns partly from colleagues and also from the psychological contract.
