Scripting Platforms

Scripting platforms are designed for dynamic processing of web sites on the server side. The site (website) created above the scripting platform is processed by the server and then sent to the client station.

There are solutions by different software producers:

• Microsoft - ASP - Active Server Pages
• Open Source - PHP - Hypertext Preprocessor
• Oracle (formerly Sun) - JSP - Java Server Pages
