
Robert S. Kaplan
Robert S. Kaplan was born in 1940. He is a professor at Harvard Business School, and together with David P. Norton co-creator of the balanced scorecard (BSC) used in strategic management.
In 2006, Kaplan received the Lifetime Contribution Award from the Management Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. In the same year, Kaplan was named to the Accounting Hall of Fame.
