Robert H. Waterman, Jr.
Robert H. Waterman, Jr. is the co-author, together with Tom Peters, of the book “In Search of Excellence”. The book introduced the McKinsey 7S framework, one of the important models of critical success factors.
Anthony Athos and Richard Pascale, also participated on the model. They published it in 1981 in the book “The Art of Japanese Management”, before Peters and Waterman.
At the time of the framework development, all worked at consulting company McKinsey (hence its name).
