Who is Richard Pascale
Richard Pascale is a leading business consultant, scholar and co-author, together with Anthony Athos, of the bestselling book “Art of Japanese Management”, which was published in 1981.

Richard Pascale was born in 1938. He received his doctorate from Harvard Business School. He is an Associate Fellow of Oxford University.

Pascale is a co-author, together with Anthony Athos, of the bestselling book “Art of Japanese Management”, which was published in 1981. The book introduced the McKinsey 7S framework, one of the important models of critical success factors.

Tom Peters and Robert H. Waterman, Jr. were further involved in the model. They later published the book “In Search of Excellence”.

At the time of the framework development, they all worked at the consulting company McKinsey (hence its name).
