Organizational climate is the atmosphere reigning in the organization, organizational unit, group or team.
Organizational climate in practice: Usually it is easier to change the climate than organizational culture, which dr. Karel Riegel aptly describes: “While the climate, as the surface, relatively less stable layer, is relatively easy to hit by immediate measures, organizational culture is characterized by large and usually long-term resistance to external influences.”
This principle applies in the socio technical change management.
