What is Management by Competencies (MBC)
Management by Competencies (MBC) is a management based on the balance of actual workforce qualifications and on the requirements for qualifications that jobs and work roles require.

Management by Competencies®, the abbreviation MBC is used. It is management based on the balance of actual workforce qualifications and on the requirements for qualifications that jobs and work roles require.

The basis is a competency model, which describes the requirements for the job and allows comparing them with actual knowledge, ability, skills and experience at a given job or a candidate for the job.

Jiri Plaminek and Roman Fiser (Czech Republic) are the authors of the methodology.
