Congress will be the first platform in the region, bringing together a number of experts from the Czech and international environment and help open a discussion on guidelines and issues of international disputes, which have become due to the presence of more jurisdictions prolonged and complicated. Congress builds on the concept of similar successful events in the world, such as LegalTech in New York or LawTech in London.

LawTech Europe will create space for learning, networking and business opportunities and will deal with the use of electronic data in four main areas - e-Discovery, Computer Forensics, Digital Investigations and Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

The aim of the congress is to cover thematically an area of civil and criminal legal proceedings relating to electronic records, governance and corruption. These are the topics that should reach wide audience as well as pressure groups that seek changes in cultural attitudes towards corruption and bribery. The program will also include panel discussions and workshops that will help launch a debate on the transfer of data across borders on emerging technologies, electronic evidence and other topics.

The main speakers at the congress will be Dr. Radim Polčák (Institute of Law and Technology, Masaryk University), Chris Dale (E-Disclosure Information Project), George Red (Integrated Legal Technology, LLC) and Dr. Ian Walden (Queen Mary, University of London). All confirmed speakers are among the recognized European experts in their field.

The conference will be held in English with Czech translation.
