Kolb’s learning cycle is one of the leading theories of learning and acquiring knowledge. It is used in the experiential education. It assumes that 80% of human cognition come from our own, thus non-communicable experiences and significantly increases the remembrance of a new information. The cycle schematically describes four stages of the learning process as they take place according place in everyday life:
- Meet with the specific experience
- Observation, thinking, reflection of the experience
- Creating abstract concept, ideas
- Experimentation based on the experience, testing of learned
