What is ITSM (IT Service Management)
ITSM is a sum of the best practices and reference models of the processes of IT service management. ITSM represents a way of management of the information and communication technologies, their operation and development that uses the principles of the service oriented management, it includes the views of customers and IT service providers.

IT Service Management (ITSM), it is usually used the abbreviation ITSM. ITSM is a sum of the best practices and reference models of the processes of IT service management. ITSM represents a way of management of the information and communication technologies, their operation and development that uses the principles of the service oriented management, it includes the views of customers and IT service providers. The concept of IT Service management comes from ITIL framework, in which the concept of IT service management was used for the first time. But the ITSM is not exclusively associated with ITIL.

IT processes audit using ITSM enables the management to find out shortcomings and problems in IT processes management.
