IPMA Competence Baseline, usually the abbreviation ICB is used. It is an international standard of project management competences, i.e. of project manager and project team. The standard is issued by IPMA.
ICB distinguishes and describes in detail the three basic areas of competence within the so-called ICB competence eye - technical competence, behavioral competence and contextual competence. This method of determining managerial skills is similar to the approach that was published already in 1974 by Robert Katz - see Managerial skills.
