Human resources represent one type of resources, respectively inputs into the production process.

When solving the topic of people in the organization, it is necessary to distinguish several levels:

• Individuals
• Group or team
• Organizational unit
• Entire organization

At each level, various phenomena appear and in the transition between levels, there is applied the emergence principle.
