Health Care (Health) is a branch of public sector, according to COFOG classification, which includes activities to ensure health care - i.e. diagnosis, diseases treatment (therapy) and treatment of sick or wounded, or related prevention. An integral part of this branch is applied research and development in health care.

Health care is provided by a network of medical facilities - doctors’ offices, health centers, hospitals, sanatoriums, laboratories, emergency medical services stations, etc. deployed throughout the country.

The health sector is generally in charge of the Ministry of Health, which focuses on strategic management of the resort - for example, it proposes changes in the network of medical facilities, determines the amount of reimbursement for medical procedures, proposes health legislation, etc.

Health insurance companies provide the financing of health care. They collect health insurance and reimburse the performances to health care facilities.
