General public services is a branch of public sector, according to COFOG classification that includes activities of legislative bodies (Chamber of Deputies, Senate), central executive bodies (government, President) and public authorities at various levels (administrative agencies and local government).
It also includes financial, budgetary and taxation matters and services management and supervision; also government institutions for basic research and applied research and development in the field of general public services.
