Floating Rate Note (FRN) is a debt security. It is a form of bond that does not have a fixed coupon. Yield is determined according to a reference rate (e.g. LIBOR - London Interbank Offered Rate).
Floating Rate Note in practice: A bond can be used both by the issuer to obtain additional funds and, on the contrary as a financial investment, if we want to evaluate the available financial resources.
