Fixed Rate Bond is a debt security that is the most common form of bonds. Bondholder receives at regular intervals fixed payments (coupons), and in maturity, the nominal value of the bond together with the latest coupon. These “classical” bonds are also called plain vanilla.
Fixed Rate Bond in practice: A bond can be used both by the issuer to obtain additional funds and, on the contrary as a financial investment, if we want to evaluate the available financial resources.
