Eligibility is the term used in human resources management. Eligibility is an individual’s ability to use knowledge and skills in a particular context, which is defined by the degree of self-reliance and responsibility, as well as the degree of complexity of the environment. Emphasis is on eligibility related to the creation of judgment and ability to communicate.

Use of eligibility in practice: Testing candidate’s eligibility for a particular job is one way of getting to know the right candidate to the right job.
