Economic Affairs is a branch of the public sector according to COFOG classification. It includes the following activities:

  • General economic, commercial and labor affairs
  • Agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting
  • Fuel and energy - governance of coal and other solid fuels, governance and services related to oil and gas, governance and services in the field of nuclear energy and the protection against ionizing radiation; governance and services in the field of electricity, governance and services related to production, distribution and use of heat in the form of steam, hot water or hot air.
  • Mining, manufacturing and construction - it includes the governance and services in the field of mining and the utilization of natural resources, the governance and services in the areas of industrial production, the governance and services in the field of construction.
  • Transport - governance and services in the field of transport (road, rail, water, air, etc.),
  • Communication - governance of affairs and services concerning construction, extension, improvement, operation and maintenance of communication systems (postal, telephone, telegraph, wireless and satellite communication systems);
