e-Commerce (sometimes also eCommerce) is a term used for electronic commerce or e-shop. e-Commerce is a narrower concept than e-Business. There are four basic models of electronic commerce that use the Internet and possibilities of modern information and communication technologies. The models are defined by the direction of marketing communication - from who it comes and to who it is addressed:
- B2B (Business to Business)
- B2C (Business to Customer)
- C2B (Customer to Business)
- C2C (Customer to Customer) (e.g. auctions, bazaars)
