Click-Through or Clickthrough is the concept of Internet advertising and refers to clicking on the link, which leads the user to the target website. Unlike the simple click, click-through is important to get the visitor to the target page (doesn’t have to work, may be problem in connection, etc.). Its measurement is therefore much more difficult.
Use of the clickthrough in practice: Usually the term is used in relation to advertising banners and advertising systems of the type of PPC (CPC). Clickthrough rate (CTR) is an important indicator of the success of advertising on the Internet.
