Who is and what does CISO (Chief Information Security Officer)
Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a designation for a manager who is responsible for information security in the organization.

Chief Information Security Officer (sometimes Information Security Manager), the abbreviation CISO is used. It is a designation for a manager who is responsible for information security in the organization. The designation Chief Information Security Office is based on American English, however it is used in most countries.

The task of CISO is to be responsible for managing information security and its continuous improvement, aligning security objectives with organizational goals and the choice of appropriate methods of their collateral. His responsibility is planning of security development, monitoring trends, information security analyzing, setting strategy and security policy in the organization.

Like other managers, the CISO’s task is to plan, lead, organize, make decisions and control people, processes and information in the field of security. As for the CISO, the same as any other manager must meet the appropriate level of managerial skills and can act in more managerial roles.
