Changes are an essential characteristic of the life of modern organizations.

Peter F. Drucker defined in the late eighties turbulence due to changes in enterprise management, which according to some other authors deepens currently up to chaos. These approaches form a philosophy of management in a changing environment, and management becomes for the most part the change management. A new method of management is defined as a knowledge enterprise.

From a management perspective, an amount of change and its impact on the organization, its processes, and other resources is substantial.

Basic types of changes in the organization:

  • Operational changes - such changes have no significant effect on the change of processes and other organizational resources
  • Development changes - such changes cause further changes in the processes and resources
