If you have been having difficulty getting Shadowlands’ ray-tracing to kick on, Blizzard’s got some help on the  Wow gold official forums. You’re going to want a GPU that supports ray tracing tier 1.1, using the newest drivers, in addition to the May 2020 update for Windows 10 – and, of course, you’ll need to be using DirectX 12.

As announced earlier this week, the GeForce 452.06 driver provides additional support for the WoW Shadowlands beta. You can head to the Blizzard website to opt-in to get an opportunity at beta accessibility, as always.

The people at Wowhead have caught a load of contrast shots to show what people ray-traced shadows look like. It is a shame WoW ray tracing will not go past shadows for today, since the stylised design and easy character models would look incredible beneath the spotlight of exceptionally realistic lighting.

Blizzard first detailed Shadowlands at Blizzcon 2019. The growth features five new zones for players to explore, a revamped leveling system that compresses the older one to 60 levels and new customization options, including the choice to change the sex of your character without paying a fee.

The short centers onto a familiar face in the Warcraft universe: Uther. If you played Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos, you’ll understand the former Paladin as mentor of Arthas Menethil, the personality who would become one of Warcraft’s most notorious villains.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands big pre-expansion event is live on the test servers and it’s unleashed an unfathomably large zombie plague on gamers, turning Azeroth’s capital cities to undead wastelands. Countless zombies are stalking the streets, devouring any NPC they can find–even including some that provide quests–and turning them into the undead. Players who get within arm’s reach may also be infected, giving them special zom-bilities and letting them attack other players to spread the infection.

To be clear, this isn’t occurring in the live version of the game but on its own public test servers. It’s here that Blizzard evaluations upcoming changes to the game, like the coming level cap squish (maximum level players will now only be level 50, with the new level cap being 60 when Shadowlands releases) along with the overhauled new participant experience. But, sometime after this autumn, this event will start on live servers–and when it is anything like what is happening today, it is going to be a bloodbath.

I am not exactly sure if the event is working as planned. Right now, Stormwind is completely overrun with ghouls which are rampaging through the streets and slaughtering everything that goes. The auction house, vendors, and even the lender are all unusable–that might be frustrating for gamers that, once the event is actually live, are just trying to go about their day to day business.

Over on the WoW subreddit, players have also found ways to attract the zombie infestation outside capital cities, making whole areas of Azeroth uninhabitable. It is amusing to see how much the  cheap wow gold classic mirrors a real zombie plague, as slain players and NPCs equally transform to ghouls so their numbers are constantly growing.
