So what NBA 2K21 MT makes this so hard? Well, nailing the arenas and player likenesses is a massive part of the equation but it’s the movement that makes this so difficult. Developer Visual Concepts - whose work on this franchise dates all of the way back into the Dreamcast age - is doing some great work here. While it’s easy enough to spot the imperfections in the visuals, if you just allow the game clean over you, then it really starts to look surprisingly authentic in action. When firing on cylinders, it truly does look like basketball.NBA 2K21 involves a vast roster of players from present NBA athletes to legends in the past. Players look round the courtroom and respond to plays real-time. It’s not perfect, because there is a hint of this’dead eyes’ impact, but it’s solid. Much like last-gen variations, 2K21 utilizes a fabric simulation for toddlers too - as you move round the court, the cloth flows and responds realistically.
But the next-gen gap is delivered in a lot of ways, particularly concerning substances, shading and light. Primarily, based on side by side effects, skin receives a substantial increase to the specular layer allowing surrounding lights to realistically play its surface. The players simply appear more realistic this time around as a result of this shift, to the point where perspiration accumulates on the characters the harder they work. All of this really brings the players .
The exact same is true of the courts, which receive new materials as well producing more realistic results. The color and material response is simply more normal in the next-gen version of the game. But the important draw for me is the audience, which delivers a massive increase over the old consoles. The quantity of detail present in every member of the crowd is remarkably impressive. All of them move independently and therefore are a lot more comprehensive, to the point where even human fingers are rendered. Yesif you look too closely, you can see dead eyes galore, clipping issues and buy mt much more but, honestly, it works extremely nicely during gameplay and replays.
