What are the features of choosing and buying a property you know?

I don’t have a place to live right now. I’ve been living in rented apartments for 10 years. Now I have the opportunity to buy my own home. I’ve been looking at some apartment options. But I’m not sure about them…. What is important to you choosing a new home?
