New Leaf and New Horizons have shifted the attention up to now from the villagers that neither really felt great. New Horizons at least tried to make it feel just like the personalities were farther apart from New Leaf by having two quite different ones in the very start of the game, but after some time the elimination of hobbies just means neither match has much for the villagers to discuss. I think I would be ready to give up a few content updates in the event the trade off was dialogue at least on par with the original, though preferably Wild World.
Agreed! There is definitely a nostalgia factor, but I can not help but believe that ACNH remains kind of vacant. I keep running out of things to do whenever there isn’t a special event going on. At least whenever there were not any events to do in ACNL, I could always go to Tortimer’s island!
Absolutely agreed. I can’t get the absolute most from my sport because it is locked away behind those damn balloons. It’s a sad gameplay experience waiting for them to spawn and chase them down.
Frankly, I’m fine with all the balloons even for seasonal DIYs. However it shouldn’t be the only way to receive them. They could just do something easy, like when you catch a maple leaf you would have a 1/10 chance of your character moving”wait, that’s not a leaf it is a DIY” or something like this.
