BEC (Business English Cetificates) is a set of three levels of tests in English, which focuses on English skills in the business environment (trade, services, administration). BEC Certificates are internationally recognized and required by employers, organizations, governments and professional associations worldwide.

Use of the BEC in practice: BEC certificates are focused on the use of English in organizations and trade negotiations. The organizations may require one of the BEC certificates as a qualification requirement for a worker or a specific profession or a job. BEC increases the value of the candidate in the labor market.
