Process Map

Process Map is a term used for a clear structure of all processes and activities in an organization, unlike the process model, which is the term used for a detailed description of one particular process. Process map usually divides processes in the organization, according to added value into:

  • Main processes
  • Managing processes
  • Support processes

Process map may be universal at the conceptual level, at the level of detail (logical or physical description) it is usually called a reference process map or a reference process model.
